Inn in Stowe VT
The Green Mountain Inn offers modern comforts with timeless ambience throughout our guest rooms, apartments and townhouses. Our dedicated staff is committed to providing you world-class service in our elegant village resort.
Visited by U.S. presidents, traded for a farm, home to a railroad company’s offices, site of a grand dance hall and base for regular Lowell Thomas broadcasts, the Green Mountain Inn has a rich and storied history.
Vermont is truly the greenest of destinations. And here at the Green Mountain Inn we want to do everything we can to keep it that way.
It’s a seemingly impossible task to capture the essence and unique splendor of Vermont’s ever-changing seasons and landscapes of simple beauty. Yet noted watercolor artist Walton Blodgett somehow managed to do so in his own inimitable style. The Inn is indeed fortunate to house the largest public display of his wonderful paintings which are hung throughout the main part of the hotel for you to view and enjoy at your leisure.
