Restaurant Marina

468 001Offering the very best in waterfront dining, our new facility, completed in the Spring of 2011, sits on the water's edge of Pott's Harbor and offers unrivaled views of Casco Bay and it's many islands. Known for specialties such as our famous fish chowder, lobster stew, and blueberry muffins, we also feature Maine lobster dinners, fresh, local seafood, and hand cut steaks. Specializing in Maine, coastal fare, ask about our Daily Blackboard specials and homemade desserts. Throughout the years we have made a continued commitment to use fresh, local products while creating a casual and welcoming atmosphere.

Our unique dining room, with its multi-levels and rounded wall of windows, provides a panorama of 180 degree water views. With the ability to accommodate approximately 130 guests, great care has been taken to differentiate the seating space to not only insure a water view, but an intimate dining experience for each individual. Muted colors and warm wood finishes add to the casual and welcoming atmosphere while providing a simple backdrop to the spectacular views. Offering a full bar, a great selection of local draft beers, and a well-rounded wine list, enjoy our tavern area for a small bite and specialty house cocktail or take advantage of our outdoor deck, relaxing in the sunshine before your lunch.

09 007While seated view landmarks such as Eagle Island, former home of Admiral Robert Peary, discoverer of the North Pole, Half Way Rock Lighthouse, and World War II observation towers marking Land's End on Bailey Island. Surrounding islands such as Jewel, Haskell, Flag, Birch, and Horse offer sights epitomizing coastal Maine. Enjoy watching harbor and marina activity as lobster boats and pleasure boats come and go, and observe sea birds and marine life in their natural habitat.

Open seasonally, April-November, we are a popular destination for locals and visitors traveling by land and by sea. Located at the very tip of Basin Point peninsula, we are "off the beaten path", and encourage guests to take advantage of all our location has to offer. Come early and have a drink or beverage in our tavern or on our outdoor deck, stroll the docks admiring the boats of our marine facility, walk to the end of the point and take in a spectacular sunset, comb the pebbly beach for sea glass and shells, or explore tide pools along the rocky shore.

What are the best cities to live in Vermont for young adults? - Quora

Burlington is a wonderful city for a young person to live in. In the main city, nearly all amenities are within walking distance. Those which are not, are usually accessible via bus. Downtown is packed with bars and pubs of all types. Like live music? Try Nectar’s. Prefer trivia? Check out RiRa’s. Want an unusual cocktail? Go to Daily Planet.
There is a co-op grocery store downtown with fresh and local food. For more affordable options, a bus ride out to South Burlington brings you to Shaw’s and Price Chopper. You’ll find every type of restaurant—nearly none of the typical chain places.
